SYSTEM DEMINERALISATION:

Magnetic Filling Stations:

Magnetic GmbH provides a range of Filling Stations to enable Heating system water demineralisation, appropriate to system capacity. These stations, outlined below, can be utilised in 2 ways.

  • Fill new system through filling station to have demineralised water in heating system from the start
  • Carry out a circulation demineralisation process on existing system. System can still operate whilst being demineralised. For units with one on board measuring computer only, an additional measuring computer will be required to carry out circulation demineralisation.

BASIC MOBIL: Mini

Magnetic GmbH basic mobil mini the lightweight among the filling stations The basic mobil mini filling station is ideal for customer service technicians and specialist companies, who primarily look after heating systems with a low filling volume. The filling station scores with compact external dimensions, handiness and low weight (5kg without filling). This is particularly useful for customer service technicians who carry out refills several times a day. The integrated measuring computer shows exactly the conductivity of the demineralized water in the output and indicates with a light signal that the set value has been exceeded. A resettable digital flow meter also guarantees the exact logging and billing of the filling to the customer.

Features:

  • Monitor the system water via a precise measuring computer (visual and audio indication)
  • Filling rate 420l/h
  • Filling capacity of up to 500 litres 350ppm hardness
  • Fast resin replacement on site due to practical collecting sack

BASIC MOBIL PLUS:

Magnetic GmbH basic mobil plus is convenient and inexpensive. The filling station is ideal for mobile filling and demineralisation of small to medium-sized heating systems. By measuring the conductivity in the outlet, demineralisation is guaranteed.

Features:

  • efficient water supply and withdrawal system
  • Monitoring of the filling water with a precise measuring computer
  • Resettable digital water meter
  • High filling speed 1,000 litres/hour
  • Filling capacity up to 1,200 litres at 350ppm Hardness
  • Quick resin change on site with practical opening
  • Frost protection drain cock
  • Longevity due to Stainless Steel design

PROFI MOBIL PLUS:

Magnetic GmbH profi mobil plus is the Premium filling station, in the range. The profi mobil plus, enables engineers the opportunity to fill any type of heating system quickly and easily. The measuring computer in the outlet shows you immediately when the mixed bed resin has been used up, whilst measuring computer in the entrance gives you the option of integrating the profi mobil plus into the heating circuit and thus demineralising the existing water using the circulation process (inline process).

Features:

  • Monitoring of the fill water using precise measuring computers in the inlet and outlet
  • Resettable digital water meter
  • High filling speed 1,500 litres/hour
  • Filling capacity up to 1,200 litres at 350ppm Hardness
  • Quick resin change on site with practical opening
  • Frost protection drain cock
  • Longevity due to Stainless Steel design

Circulation demineralisation (inline process) of heating water during system operation

With some heating systems, it is not possible to completely drain the heating system for various reasons. In this instance the profi mobil plus provides the solution of treating the existing heating water by means of circulation demineralisation during operation.

Note:

It is also recommended to fill the system directly with supply water when filling underfloor heating and only demineralizing the heating water using circulating desalination when all pressure tests have been passed. This prevents water that has already been treated from leaking out of the system in the event of leaks.

Features:

The second measuring computer in the inlet to the Profi Mobil, alerts the user when the heating water has been desalinated, saving time when treating the heating water in existing systems, and enabling other work to be carried out simultaneously.

Note:

The water quality of the fill water is becoming increasingly important for modern heating technology, water volumes are getting bigger, and the heat exchangers are more compact and sensitive. The VDI guideline 2035 takes a clear position here. It requires protection against limescale deposits and protection against corrosion. The lower the salinity and thus the conductivity of the water, the lower the likelihood of corrosion. The VDI speaks clear words here: Low salt or demineralized water complies with both Sheet 1 and Sheet 2 of the VDI. In low-salt operation below 100 uS/ cm, a 5 times higher oxygen content in the water can be tolerated without causing corrosion problems.

Magnetic GmbH solution to a common problem. Treating heating water in an existing system can be a challenge especially if system cannot be drained and is highly contaminated.

Magnetic GmbH solution is easy to apply and no system shutdown and/or flushing required.

  • System circulation filtration
  • System circulation demineralisation.

This process can be performed whilst enabling the engineer to carry out other works.
